PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying a travelling distance of engine oil and transmission oil is provided to allow a user to timely exchange oil by displaying the travelling distance after exchanging oil. CONSTITUTION: A travelling distance displaying apparatus comprises a plug switch(60) which is turned off when a drain plug(55) coupled to an oil pan(50) of an engine or to a lower portion of a transmission is opened and is turned on when the drain plug(55) is closed so as to allow a user to exchange engine oil and transmission oil. A controller(70) is provided to calculate the travelling distance from the ON state of the plug switch(60) by receiving the signal from a travelling distance recorder(75). A displaying device(80) is provided to display the travelling distance based on the signal of the controller(70). The plug switch(60) is switched off when a moving terminal(64) is separated from a fixing terminal(66) and is switched on when the moving terminal(64) is connected to the fixing terminal(66). The plug switch(60) is covered with a switch cap(62) such that the plug switch(60) can be protected from oil.
