PURPOSE: A method for controlling moving of an electric vehicle is provided to prevent an electric vehicle from sliding and enhance efficiency of a motor and a battery of the electric vehicle. CONSTITUTION: When an electric vehicle is driven on a slope(S10), if the vehicle cannot be driven due to jam or a standby signal, operation of an accelerator pedal is released and a brake is operated(S20). If a brake switch signal of an operation information detecting part is off(S30), a controller determines whether the vehicle slides by analyzing speed and number of rotation of a motor detected in the operation information detecting part(S40). It is determined whether the vehicle slides owing to the driver's will(S50). An output of the motor is increased by a predetermined equation(S60). It is determined whether the same output torque as a sliding torque of the vehicle by analyzing the speed and the number of rotation of the motor(S70). The output torque of the motor is increased until it becomes the same as the sliding torque of the vehicle(S80).
