PURPOSE: A method for controlling display of caption broadcasting in PIP(picture in picture) mode is provided for users to watch two broadcastings accurately. If voice signal of main broadcasting is selected as speaker output, voice signal of sub broadcasting is selected as caption display output automatically. If voice signal of sub broadcasting is selected as speaker output, voice signal of main broadcasting is selected as caption display output automatically. CONSTITUTION: The method for controlling display of caption broadcasting in PIP(picture in picture) mode includes several steps. A first step is to determine whether display mode of a television is PIP mode.(201) A second step is to determine whether the television is on caption display mode if display mode of a television is PIP mode.(202) A third step is to select main/sub broadcastings for speaker output and caption display in the PIP mode if the television is on caption display mode.(203,204,205) A fourth step is to display caption of the selected caption broadcasting signal not to be piled up sub scene and output audio signal of broadcasting selected as speaker output.(206,207) |
