PURPOSE: An image reproducing device discriminating whether external input signals can be reproduced or not is provided to display and inform the discriminating result to a userl. CONSTITUTION: The image reproducing device discriminating whether external input signal can be reproduced or not includes following units. A synchronization signal dividing unit(11) receives an input outside image signal and divides a synchronization signal. A deviation unit(12) is connected to an output terminal of the synchronization signal dividing unit(11). A synchronization signal input unit(13) receives the outputs signals of the synchronization signal dividing unit(11) and the deviation unit(12). An integral circuit unit(14) and a logic output circuit unit(15) are connected to an output terminal of the synchronization signal input unit(13). The synchronization signal input unit(13) includes two resistors(R1,R2) and a transistor(Q1). The integral circuit unit(14) includes a diode(D1), a capacitor(C1), and a resistor(R3). The logic output circuit unit(15) includes two resistors(R4,R5), a diode(D2), two transistors(Q2,Q3).
