PURPOSE: An inlet valve fixing device of linear compressor is provided to prevent reduction of efficiency of a compressor by keep an inlet valve in an appropriate position on fixing the inlet valve. CONSTITUTION: An inlet valve fixing device comprises a piston(110); an inlet valve(120); and a rivet(130). The piston compresses refrigerant in a space of a cylinder and has a rivet hole(113) with a hooking plane(113a) formed on a periphery of the rivet hole. The inlet valve has a coupling hole(121) corresponding with the rivet hole of the piston. A hooking plane(121a) is formed on a periphery of the coupling hole like the hooking plane of the rivet hole. The rivet penetrates the coupling hole of the inlet valve and is engaged with the rivet hole of the piston to push the inlet valve to fix. A hooking surface is formed on the rivet correspondingly with the coupling hole and the hooking plane.
