PURPOSE: A J1850 one-way communication method is provided which uses a general microcomputer ports to be easily connected to external periphery devices. CONSTITUTION: In a J1850 one-way communication method using a microcomputer, a data starting signal, data, data finishing signal are sequentially output according to a data transmission format established in J1850. The data is converted to be adapted to J1850 voltage level. Then, this signal whose voltage level is converted is transmitted. The data starting signal is output, being a 'high' signal, for a predetermined period of time set in J1850. The data finishing signal is output being a 'low' signal for a predetermined period of time set in J1850. The data is transmission data that is output for a predetermined period of time set with respect to the data signal in J1850.
