PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the storage of a fork without depending on manpower and easy application to an existing fork lift by utilizing the lifting operation of a lift bracket. SOLUTION: This fork storage device is supported on a lift bracket 12 driven for lifting operation so that a fork shaft 14, on which a fork 20 is integrally provided, can be rotated around its axis. On the other hand, a power converter 30 mountable on an outer mast side can be connected to the fork shaft 14 in its mounted condition. When the lift bracket 12 is driven for lifting operation in this condition, the fork shaft 14 can be rotated around the axis with the following up-and-down movement of the fork shaft 14.
