PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the interval in carrying a recording material by providing a drawing means for drawing out the recording material passed a resist roller part from the resist roller part. SOLUTION: A recording material is passed through roller groups 55, 54 in this side of resist rollers, and detected by a sensor 1 in this side of the resist rollers, and stopped at a position approaching by several mm from the resist rollers 50 so as to form a loop for biassing. Rotation of the resist roller 50 is started with a desirable timing in image formation, and the recording material is pinched between a transfer drum 5a and a suction roller 5g so as to start the carrying. An eccentric cam 53 is rotated so as to release the pair of resist rollers 50 through a lever 52. The recording material is carried more, and when a rear end of the recording material comes close to the pair of resisting rollers 50, a lever 60 as a guide is rocked so that the rear end of the recording material is drawn out of the pair of resist rollers 50, and the pair of resist rollers 50 are returned to the original position so as to prepare for carrying of a following recording material. Since the recording paper passes through the pair of resist rollers in a short time with these operation, interval in carrying of the recording material can be shortened.
