PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably store and hold a part by setting the depth of a recess formed in the bottom face of a recess for part storage to a dimension corresponding to the depth of a burr generated on the inside of the recess during holing. SOLUTION: In carrier tape 10, a recess 14 having a depth H1 equal to or greater than the height of a burr 16 which may be raised around a hole 15 is provided in the central part of the bottom face 11A of each embossed part 11, and an electronic part 3 stored in each embossed part 11 is supported by the bottom face 11A of the embossed part 11, except the bottom face 14A of the recess 14. Therefore, even if a return bur is raised around the hole 15, the carrier tape 10 can stably hold the electronic part in each embossed part 11 without the return bar contacting the electronic part or lifting the electronic part.
