PURPOSE: A PDP(Plasma Display Panel) increasing discharge path is provided to increase the discharge path, to enhance the brightness and to reduce the electric power consumption, by forming a small barrier overlapping with the space between the sustain electrodes on a transparent dielectric in the front surface plate of PDP. CONSTITUTION: A PDP(Plasma Display Panel) increasing discharge path comprises a front surface plate and the second glass substrate, an address electrode, the second transparent dielectric layer, the first barrier, a fluorescent and the second barrier. The front surface plate includes the first glass substrate, a sustain electrode formed on the first glass substrate, the first transparent dielectric layer covering the first glass substrate and the sustain electrode. The address electrode is formed on the second glass substrate and is orthogonal with the sustain electrode. The second transparent dielectric layer covers the second glass substrate and the address electrode. The first barrier is formed on the second transparent dielectric layer. The fluorescent is formed on the second transparent dielectric layer and the first barrier. The second barrier is formed on the first transparent dielectric layer between the sustain electrodes and increase the discharge path. |
