DIGITAL-ANALOG CONVERTER IN WHICH ERROR CAUSED BY MISMATCHING BETWEEN CAPACITORS IS MINIMIZED

PURPOSE: A digital-analog converter is provided which minimizes harmonic distortion generated due to mismatching between capacitors using random decoding. CONSTITUTION: A digital-analog converter which minimizes harmonic distortion generated due to mismatching between capacitors using random decoding includes an N-bit sigma-delta converter(40) for externally receiving a digital input signal to sigma-delta-convert it into an N-bit signal, and a decoder(42) for receiving and decoding the N-bit signal to generate 2N signal. The digital-analog converter also has a random generation circuit(44) for randomizing the 2N signal, and a switched capacitor filter(46) for receiving the randomized signal to low-pass-filter it and generating a final analog output signal that has been converted with respect to the digital input signal.
