FUSE CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A fuse circuit is provided to be blown electrically completely when it is operated as a load having a large resistance because it is not completely blown. CONSTITUTION: A fuse circuit to replace a defective cell with a redundancy cell includes: a resistor(R1) and a fuse(FS) connected in serial between the first power source terminal(VCC) and the second power source terminal(VSS); an inversion device(INV) wherein a voltage of a node where the resistor and the fuse are connected to an input terminal in common to an input terminal; and a switching unit which cuts the connection of the first terminal and the second terminal, by being controlled by an output of the inversion device. The fuse circuit can operate normally even in case that the fuse is not blown completely and still has a large resistance.
