PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to prevent misoperation by suppressing generating of a coupling capacitor on a complementary bit line. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device includes a precharging unit(NM11,NM12), an equalizing unit(NM13), a sense amplifier(INV11,INV12) and a capacitor(C11). The precharging unit is connected between a bit line and a reference voltage line and precharges the bit line and the reference voltage line with a predetermined precharge voltage according to a bit line precharge control signal. The equalizing unit is connected between the bit line and the reference voltage line and equalizes a voltage level of the bit line and the reference voltage line according to the bit line precharges control signal. The sense amplifier amplifies data on the bit line by using a reference voltage of the reference voltage line. One end of the capacitor is connected to the terminal coupled to the reference voltage line and another end of the capacitor is connected to a ground voltage.
