BIOCHIP AND METHODS FOR PATTERNING AND ANALYZING BIOMASS THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided are a biochip, which is cut down the production cost and allows for increasing reliability and level of agglomeration, and methods for patterning and analyzing biomass thereof which can analyze the biomass of the biochip at high speed without a high-priced equipment. CONSTITUTION: The biochip consists of a board; a reflecting layer formed in a front side of the board; an active layer formed on the reflecting layer; and the biomass pattern formed on the certain region of the active layer. The board comprising a groove region and a land region is made of one of glass, polycarbonate, polytetrafluorethylene, polystyrene, silicon oxide, silicon nitride. The method for patterning the biomass of the biochip comprises the steps of : (1) rotating the biochip; (2) radiating laser beam into a form of pulse on the rotated biochip to activate the certain region of the active layer sequentially; (3) fixing the biomass pattern to the activated certain region; and (4) carrying out the steps (3) and (4) repeatedly.
