METHOD FOR DETECTING SLAB SHAPE AND FOR CONTROLLING ROLLING OF DYNAMIC WIDTH

PURPOSE: A method for detecting a slab shape and controlling the rolling of a dynamic width is provided to increase quality minimizing a width defect through a dynamic plate width control lengthwise with a low cost. CONSTITUTION: While supplying a non-information taper slab different from actual information, a slab width meter detects the moment value of the length, the moment value of a horizontal advance and the moment value of a width variation in the opening of a heating furnace. Then, the taper slab is set by the data and a bar is output without a taper over the length.
