PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for continuously supplying a polyurethan elastic gauze for use in a paper diaper is provided to present the stability when a tension is supplied, to prevent the changing of tension and the generation of a shape badness, and to increase a productivity by having no knot in the connecting part by performing thermo fusion adherence of an ending part thread of a supply cheese and a front ending part thread of a pre-cheese. CONSTITUTION: A plate guide(11) comprises a hole that a polyurethan elastic gauze passes through. A metal which is smoothly processed the surface by a hard chromium plating or a ceramic are suitable for the surface of the hole. A circle which is low in a frictional heating is suitable for the shape of the hole. The hole is formed to the plat of the plat guide(11) as one body or is formed by fabricating a circular guide to the plate of the plate guide(11).
