PURPOSE: A surface grinder is provided to improve the efficiency of grinding of grinder by making surface grinding more even according to the grinding width of a part grinded. CONSTITUTION: A surface grinder comprises; a cover(10) covering an upper part; a bottom plate(11) covered by the cover and forms a floor; a driving motor(13) installed on the bottom plate generates power; a power transferring part; a grinding part(25) receiving the power transferred from the power transferring part and grinds; a first driving roller installed in one side of the bottom plate to guide the drive of the grinding part; a second driving roller(30) installed in the other side of the bottom plate; and a grinding belt(12) fastened in driving motor, power transferring part and grinding part, grinds a grinded surface. The power transferring part comprises a first power transferring part(14) transferring the power of the driving motor, and a second power transferring part(15) transferring the power of the first power transferring part to the grinding part.
