PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To independently perform the pretensioning and tensioning of a thread in adjacent positions and improve assembling property by providing a single tensioner for imparting independent variable tensions to the bobbin side and thread guide part side of a thread supplied to the thread guide part of a balance mechanism. SOLUTION: A pair of tension discs 74, 75 is erected on the vertical wall 71a of a substantially L-shaped tension bracket 71 through main and sub tension shafts, and substantially semicircular thread pressing parts 74b, 75b formed on the outside of the respective holes 74a, 75a of the tension discs 74, 75 are mutually protruded to the others, respectively, and mutually closely engaged. Tongue pieces 74c, 75c are formed in the upper centers of the tension discs 74, 75, and the tongue pieces 74c, 75c are butted to the projection part of the tension bracket 71 and the pressing finger 85b of a tension releaser 85, respectively. A tension dial 79 is rotatably erected on a shaft 80 fixed to one end of a crank-like bracket 81 together with a plate spring 82, and the other end of the bracket 81 is screwed to the tension bracket 71.
