PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dissolving device which is capable of facilitating the additional dissolution work of a stock solution for dialysis and lessening maintenance work and its use method. SOLUTION: The dissolving device for obtaining the stock solution for dialysis by dissolving a powder medicine for dialysis has dissolving tanks 1 and 2 which house the stock solution for dialysis, a water feed line which supplies water for dissolving the powder medicine for dialysis to the dissolving tanks 1 and 2, a liquid level detecting means 3 which is capable of continuously detecting the liquid level of the stock solution for dialysis dissolved and formed by the water feed line, an arithmetic means 9 which computes the volume of the stock solution for dialysis in the dissolving tanks 1 and 2 from the liquid level detected by the liquid level detecting means 3 and a supply line which supplies the stock solution for dialysis to a dialyzate supply device 11 from the dissolving tanks 1 and 2.
