PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair of easily changing mutually from using position to waiting position for the footrest board on footrest. SOLUTION: A footrest supports pivotally a mounting part 9, which is set on the swing arm end having a footrest board, on the turning base part of wheelchair side and supports the footrest board 1 enabling to flip. The footrest allocates a pair of engaging part, a protruding part 12 and a ditch part 13, to the turning base part and the mounting part respectively. When the footrest board 1 comes to the using position or the waiting position, as to be controlled for the turning of swing arm 8 just before the full engaging of the protruding part 12 and the ditch part 13, the stopper part and to be stopped part, to be a pair of connecting part, is allocated to the turning base part and the mounting part respectively.
