PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube is provided to reduce the deflection power without generating BSN of electronic beam due to changing the shape of a funnel. CONSTITUTION: In a cathode ray tube, a panel is formed on the inside plane of the cathode ray tube. A funnel is mounted in connection with the panel and has a deflection york mounted on the outer circumference thereof. The funnel includes a cylindrical neck inserting-mounted with an electron gun inside thereof, a cone part connected to the neck side and a body disposed between the cone part and the panel and connected to the panel side. When the neck side end of the cone is start point(0), in the outer circumference of the cone part within 25 percent of the whole length of the cone part mounted on the tube axis of the cathode ray tube from the neck side end, the outer circumference is formed as an arc curved, wherein x value in the center(Cx,Cy) of the outer circumference is an absolute value of Cx< 4.5mm and the curvature radius(r1) is 25mm<r1<50mm.
