PURPOSE: A direct coupling type washing machine is provided to improve the washing effect of the washing machine by generating a reverse liquid flow at a center of a washing tub. CONSTITUTION: A direct coupling type washing machine comprises a pulsator(21) integrally formed with a washing tub(2). A driving shaft(4) for transferring the rotational force of a motor(5) to the washing tub(2) is coupled to a hub(3). A driving gear(42) is formed at an upper portion of the driving shaft(4). A driving gear(42) is meshed with a planet gear(43). A driven gear(44) is meshed with the planet gear(43). A bolt shaft(441) is formed at an upper portion of the driven gear(44). An agitator(6) is installed at a center of the washing tub(2). The bolt shaft(441) is inserted into an insertion hole(6) of the agitator(6).
