STIRRER FOR MICROWAVE OVEN

PURPOSE: A stirrer for a microwave oven is provided to prevent the spark from being generated between the stirrer and a bottom of a cooking chamber. CONSTITUTION: A tray is placed at a bottom of a cooking chamber. A stirrer(70) is installed in a recess formed at the bottom of the cooking chamber. The stirrer(70) includes a body plate section(73) and a holder section(72). The body plate section(73) is made of metal capable of reflecting the microwave. The holder section(72) is made of non-metallic material having the insulation and heat-resistance characteristic. The holder section(72) is preferably made of synthetic resin. The holder section(72) is adhered to a center of the body plate section(73) by means of adhesive selected depending on material of the holder section(72) and the body plate section(73). The body plate section(73) has a plurality of blades(74). The blades(74) disturb the microwave when the stirrer(70) rotates. The body plate section(73) is formed at a center thereof with a perforation hole(75). When rotating shafts of a motor assembly are inserted into the stirrer(70), the second shaft is coupled to the tray by passing through the perforation hole(75) and the first rotating shaft is inserted into the holder section(72).
