PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary bridge carrier which can be used as as ascending passageway up to an elevated position by making it possible to displace an extensible self-traveling girder constituting the bridging beam to a using condition or a housed condition and making the bridging beam revolvable against a vehicle and further, making the extensible girder constituting the beam raisable and lowerable. SOLUTION: A revolving frame base 23 revolvably mounted on a vehicle provided with an outrigger, extensible girders 24 raisably and lowerably pivoted to the front and rear sides of the revolving frame base 23 respectively, and a derricking mechanism 28 arranged between the revolving frame base 23 and extensible girder 24, are disposed in this bridging beam carrier 20. Box bodies having a rectangular section are fitted to each other in sequence to form the extensible girder 24 which is constituted to be extensible by the extensible mechanism 28 internally equipped. The revolving frame base 23 is pivoted to the extensible girder 24 so that the upper face 25 of the revolving frame base is arranged to be almost flush with the upper face 26 of the proximal end. The upper face 27 of the extensible girder and the upper face of the revolving frame base form a traveling passage face.
