PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing processing and a sizing device of high measurement accuracy. SOLUTION: In this device and method, a so-called non-driving sizing roller 6, which rotates in accordance with the movement of a rolling material, is installed adjacent to an exit side of rolling rolls R and, pinch rollers 12 are installed in succession at a position slightly apart from the rolling rolls R for drawing out the rolling material. Since sizing is performed while the rolling material is drawing out, a highly accurate product can be obtained without causing a speed reduction or an engaging stop at the rolling material end part. Since sizing is performed with the sizing roller 6 installed at a position adjacent to the rolling rolls R, problems concerning the installation space can be eliminated and a mis-rolling or a buckling is not taken place.
