Mechanism for knocking down and collecting olives, operated from the cabin of a motor vehicle. The part which knocks down the olives is operated from the driver's cabin of a motor vehicle. The olives are collected in an umbrella deployed mechanically under the tree by a mechanism operated from the driver's cabin of the same vehicle. The olives are transferred to a sack by a command signal from the driver's cabin of the same vehicle, once the olive leaves have been removed by suction.
