PURPOSE: A front plate of a plasma display panel is provided to prevent an irregular brightness between the discharge cells which generated by an error arrangement between an opening and a diaphragm formed in a maintenance electrode. CONSTITUTION: A front plate of a plasma display panel comprises a glass substrate, a transparent maintenance electrode(21), and a bus electrode. The transparent maintenance electrode(21) is formed on the glass substrate and has at least two opening on unit discharge cell. The bus electrode is formed on the transparent maintenance electrode(21).
