<p>PURPOSE:To cast a titanium-aluminum allay cast product having excellent quality containing the prescribed contents of the titanium and the aluminum by precisely adjusting the aluminum quantity at the time of casting the titanium- aluminum alloy cast product by melting raw material of sponge titanium and aluminum, etc. CONSTITUTION:In an induction skull melting furnace 2, the sponge titanium is melted in an inert gas atmosphere having a prescribed pressure and then, the aluminum is added to make the molten titanium-aluminum alloy and this molten alloy is cast in a mold 4 to make an ingot. Successively, this ingot is remelted in the reduced pressure and the aluminum content in the remelted titanium-aluminum alloy is adjusted so as to become the aimed value, and further, this molten alloy is cast into the mold in the reduced pressure to make the titanium-aluminum alloy cast product.</p> |
