PURPOSE: A hybrid electric vehicle is provided to extend a distance covered and prevent environmental pollution by efficiently using energy. CONSTITUTION: A controlling unit(10) controls an overall operation of a hybrid electric vehicle. A power supplying unit(20) provides a power for driving a vehicle. A driving unit(30) receives a power output from the power supplying unit and drives the vehicle. An auxiliary power generating unit(40) generates a power by being varied in operation according to the condition of the power supplying unit and provides the same to the power supplying unit and the driving unit. A battery status detecting unit(50) detects temperature, voltage, current, charging/discharging state of a battery and outputs a pertinent signal to the controlling unit(10). An engine driving part(41) is driven to generate a power according to a state that the power supplying unit is charged. A generating part(42) generates a power according to a state that the engine driving part(41) is operated. A charging contactor(43) is varied in operation by maintaining a constant engine RPM and outputs a power generated in an AC generator(42) to a main battery and the driving unit. An engine controlling unit(44) receives a signal output from the controlling unit and controls an engine driving part(31). |
