PURPOSE: A duplex number 7 processor management method for a mobile communication exchange is provided to manage stably and reliably the duplex constitution of the No.7 processor for processing and managing No.7 signal system. CONSTITUTION: A processor(21) controls wholly No.7 communication protocol operations of MSHP(Mobile Signaling Handling Processor). IGCAs(Integrated Global Communication board Assembly)(22,23) are comprised of duplex for processing IPC(Inter Process Communication). SSPA(Signaling System Process board Assembly)s(24,25) are comprised of duplex for performing duplex No.7 processing operations of MSHP. SSFA(Signaling System level 2 Function board Assembly)s(26,27) are comprised of duplex for processing level 2 as a signal link of No.7 communication protocol. An IPC communication unit(28) is connected to the IGCA(22,23)s for performing IPC communication to a control station. A No.7 L2 processing unit(29) is connected to the SSFA(26,27)s for performing No.7 L2 communication to the control station.
