RECEIVER IN BASE TRANSCEIVER STATION USING PROPAGATION MODE SHARING FILTER IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A receiver in a base transceiver station using a propagation mode sharing filter in a communication system is provided to improve the performance of a receiver by embodying diversity using a propagation mode sharing filter so that received signals can have multiple receiving paths. CONSTITUTION: A propagation mode sharing filter(1) separates signals received from a receiving antenna(ANT) so that they can have different receiving paths according to propagation modes. The first LNA(Low Noise Amplifier)(2-1) and the second LNA(2-2) carry out low noise amplification for the signals received through the receiving paths separated by the propagation mode sharing filter(1). The first down converter and baseband card(3-1) and the second down converter and baseband card(3-2) carry out down conversion for the frequency of the signals amplified by the first LNA(2-1) and the second LNA(2-2) and converts the signals into baseband signals. A multiplexer(4) multiplexes the signals converted by the first down converter and baseband card(3-1) and the second down converter and baseband card(3-2) and outputs them to a channel card(5) in a base transceiver station.
