PURPOSE: A method for controlling a remote feature of a mobile communication network, is provided to control the remote feature in a home location register(HLR), and to change a scenario only with a change of the HLR without changing an application program of a mobile switching center(MSC) regardless of roaming places of a subscriber. CONSTITUTION: A user telephones a special service code for controlling a remote feature. A home location register(HLR) compares the special service code with a special service code of a HLR database to decide whether the call request is for remote feature control. If for the remote feature, the HLR delivers an announcement of inputting a terminal number of a subscriber to a mobile switching center(MSC). If the terminal number inputted by the subscriber is registered in the HLR, a password of the remote feature control is inputted and an announcement is delivered to the MSC. If the password inputted by the subscriber is coincident with a password in the HLR, an announcement informing the input of a feature code during annexed services of the subscriber is delivered to the MSC. If the subscriber has authorization for an annexed service corresponding to the inputted feature code, the HLR sets the feature code and delivers a success message to the MSC. If the subscriber does not have authorization for the annexed service corresponding to the inputted feature code, the HLR delivers a failure message to the MSC.
