<p>1429725 Oxadiazole compounds PHILAGRO SA 17 Dec 1973 [18 Dec 1972] 58299/73 Heading C2C Novel fungicidal compounds of formula in which: R is a phenyl radical optionally substituted by at least one halogen atom, nitro group, trifluoromethyl, alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio radical, the alkyl portion of these radicals containing from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; a phenylalkyl or phenoxyalkyl radical, the alkyl portion of these radicals containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms or an optionally substituted thienyl, trichlorothienyl, benzothienyl, furyl, tetrahydrofuryl or pyridyl radical which is attached to the carbon of the oxadiazole ring either directly or through an aliphatic chain containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R<SP>1</SP> is a haloalkylthio, thiocyanatoalkyl, cyano, alkenyl or alkynyl, acyl, (halo)alkoxycarbonyl, cyclohexyloxycarbonyl, alkylthiocarbonyl, amido, monoalkylamido or sulphonyl radical, the alkyl portion of these radicals containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, are prepared by reacting an appropriate sodium oxadiazolemercaptide with R<SP>1</SP>Hal.</p> |
