PURPOSE: A tuner is provided generate the property change caused by handling the tuner carelessly without requiring the re-adjustment process of a peaking coil. CONSTITUTION: In a tuner, a mixing part(160) mixes a high frequency signal of an interstage tuning part(140) and an oscillation frequency signal of a local oscillation part(150) and then converts the signal into an intermediate frequency signal. A control part(170) for adjusting the intermediate frequency removes a noise signal generated in mixing the oscillation frequency signal of the local oscillation part and the high frequency signal of the interstage tuning part and detects only a desired signal. The control part(170) for adjusting the intermediate frequency includes a peaking coil(L) serial-connected to the mixing part and the first and the second capacitors(C1,C2) parallel-connected to the front and back stages of the peaking coil respectively and then connected to ground.
