PURPOSE: A dehydrating method of a washing machine is provided to improve the dehydrating effect of the washing machine by selectively setting an unbalance value according to the atmosphere temperature of the washing machine. CONSTITUTION: An unbalance value is measured while a dehydrating process is being carried out by using the speed change rate of a washing motor. Then, the atmosphere temperature of the washing machine is measured. Based on the unbalance value and the atmosphere temperature of the washing machine, the limit value of the unbalance for the dehydrating process is determined. If the unbalance value is changed from the first value to the second value, a microcomputer installed in the washing machine changes the limit value of the unbalance from the first value to the second value. |
