PURPOSE: A method for forming fluorescent material of PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is provided to prevent the luminescence efficiency deterioration caused by the chemical change of fluorescent material and the process environment. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming fluorescent material of PDP(Plasma Display Panel) comprises the steps; spreading a fluorescent material on panel having the prescribed bottom construction; and performing the surface treatment of the fluorescent material particle by using at least one among SiO2, MgO, Al2O3, Y2O3, In2O3 and WO3. In the surface treatment, at least one among SiO2, MgO, Al2O3, Y2O3, In2O3 and WO3 is dissolved in an alcoholic solvent such as ethanol and allows potassium silicate and ethyl silicate to react. |
