PURPOSE: A method and apparatus of forming a barrier rib of a plasma display panel is provided to obtain uniform and flat a barrier rib in the plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of barrier rib(32) is formed on a plasma display panel using a screen print or a sandblast. In order to make a hight of the barrier rib(32) uniform and to make a surface of the barrier rib(32) flat, an upper part of the plurality of barrier rib(32) is grinded by a laser beam.
