PURPOSE: Provided is a method for forming polish patterns or letters on a non-polish stainless steel pipe by an electrolytic polishing, which makes the non-polish stainless steel pipe more beautiful. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: silk-screening the surface, except parts of patterns, of the stainless steel pipe with acid-resistant ink(2) and then drying; adding the stainless steel pipe to an abrasive(3) comprising sulfuric acid, water, a surfactant, a corrosion-inhibitor, an inhibitor and a metal polishing agent; connecting the stainless steel pipe to the (+) terminal of a rectifier(6) and conductive plates(5) to the (-) terminal of the rectifier(6) and then heating at about 50-70 °C and supplying 5-12 V of direct voltage for about 4-5 minutes to form the polish patterns; cleaning the stainless steel pipe to remove the abrasive(3) and drying; removing the acid-resistant ink layer(2) from the surface of the stainless steel pipe by using caustic soda and drying. |
