PURPOSE: A welding rod cutting system is provided to save time and to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION: Wires for a welding rod are supplied by a supply unit(42). The wires are heated by heating units(46a,46b). A marking unit(54) marks on the side of the wires at a specific interval. The bending portion of the wire is straightened by correcting units(50a,50b). A delivery unit(58) is installed on a flow course of the wires to control the flow of the wires. While guided by the delivery unit, the wires are cut by a cutting unit(64). The wires cut by the cutting unit are received by storing units(39,70). While the wires are continuously guided, the surfaces of the wires are cleaned by a cleaning solution in a cleaning bath. Upon heating of the wires by the electric resistance of the heating units, the uneven part is deformed in straight shape. Thus, the wires are easily and promptly cut by a desired length. Therefore, time efficiency and productivity are improved.
