PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera where shake caused at the time of depressing a shutter button is reduced by providing a clearance between a finger to push a shutter in and the housing of a camera in the midst of operation for pushing the shutter button in. SOLUTION: A mode dial 101 including a power switch has structure that it is rotated around the shutter button 102 of the camera. The dial 101 and the corner of the housing being parts which abut on the finger when a user puts a forefinger on the button 102 and holds the camera are formed in finger shape. Namely, by shaving the dial 101 and providing the clearance, the user directly puts the finger on the button 102 without touching the dial 101. Thus, the user does not push the housing with the finger cushion in the case of pressing the button 102, and pushes the button 102 by moving the tip of the forefinger, so that the shake caused at the time of depressing the button 102 is reduced.
