PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical card, such as a credit card, a medical treatment card or a card for employee of a company, which has an optical recording section, has a high bending resistance and a form consisting of an optical recording member embedded in a recessed part of the card. SOLUTION: This optical card consists of an optical recording member 2 embedded in the bottom part of a recessed part formed in a card through an adhesive. The optical recording member 2 consists of a surface cured layer, a transparent protective layer, a track pattern layer and an optical recording layer which are laminated in this order. A rectangular fixing frame 3 formed with a thin belt-like material is adhered to the optical recording member and the surface of the card through an adhesive so as to cover a groove at the upper part of the groove along the outer periphery of the optical recording member. |
