PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve wear resistance by containing a specified amount of flame retardant or antioxidant in a polyolefin. SOLUTION: This composition has 50-150 wt.% of flame retardant and 4-5 parts by weight of antioxidant with respect to 100 parts by weight of polyorefin. A metal hydroxide such as magnesium hydroxide is preferably used as the flame retardant. A hindered phenolic antioxidant is preferably used as the antioxidant. Concretely, 2,6-di-t-buthyl-4-methyl phenol or the like can be used. A light stabilizer, smoother, filler, colorant and/or the like can be mixed in the composition according to the application. The composition is prepared by mixing polyolefin, flame retardant, antioxidant and other mixing agents by a conventional method, and the thickness of covering may be the same thickness as the conventional one. |
