PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a music reproducing in accordance with the music data, which are being transmitted, by including information indicating the specimen frequencies of original music data of music data in the music information. SOLUTION: In a music data information recording format 200, specimen frequency data of original music data are assigned into a 36 to 39 bit region 201. Nine kinds of frequencies are assigned to the specimen frequencies of original music data, i.e., 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz and double frequencies 64 kHz, 88.2 kHz and 96 kHz and 1/2 frequencies 16 kHz, 22.05 kHz and 24 kHz. By including the information, that indicates original music data specimen frequencies, in music data information, a music data receiving equipment recognizes specimen frequencies of original music data even in the case of down sampling and transmitting the music data of 96 kHz and 88.2 kHz which are specimen frequencies being adapted in the DVD audio standards. |
