PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow deterioration in magnetic characteristics and occurrence of a quasi-gap to be prevented by forming a first metal layer made of Cr or Ti in direct contact on a bonding surface of each of magnetic cores, forming as a gap member a second metal layer made of Au on the first metal layer, and bonding the respective magnetic cores by means of thermal diffusion between the second metal layers. SOLUTION: A pair of magnetic cores I and II are bonded to each other, wherein in the respective magnetic cores, magnetic metal thin films 5 and 6 made of an amorphous alloy or the like are respectively interposed between substrates 1 and 2 and substrates 3 and 4, each made of an oxide material such as ferrite, ceramics or the like. A magnetic gap (g) is formed in a butted plane between the magnetic metal thin films 5 and 6 to form a closed circuit. Portions of the substrates 1,2,3,4 in the vicinity of the magnetic gap (g) are cut away, and glass members 7 and 8 are filled into the thus-formed cut-away portions. The magnetic gap g is formed between end surfaces of the magnetic metal thin films 5 and 6, and the total film thickness of the metallic thin films 5 and 6 corresponds to a track width. |
