摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the display quality of a screen by providing the above device with >=2 flat plate display elements having boundaries connected by contact of one side with each other and optical compensation means which are installed on the screens of the flat plate display elements and guide the display light emitted to the screens toward the center of the boundary of the flat plate display elements. SOLUTION: The multidisplay device is constituted by the two flat plate display elements 20 and 40 having the boundaries connected by the contact of the one side with each other. The flat plate display elements 20 and 40 are installed in a rotary type, etc., by connecting means. The flat plate display elements 20 and 40 are respectively formed by laminating and forming transparent electrodes 14 and 14a, insulating layers and alignment layers on the inside surfaces of a pair of substrates 12 and 12a and injecting and sealing a liquid crystal material 16 into the internal space sealed by a sealant 8 in the case of an LCD. Further, the surfaces of the screens of the flat plate display elements 20 and 40 are provided with the optical compensation means 18. The optical compensation means 18 act to guide the route of the display light emitted to the screens of the flat plate display elements 20 and 40 so as to incline the same toward the center of the boundaries and to emit the display light to the outside.
