CASING METHOD OF PIEZOELECTRIC TRANSFORMER ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a piezoelectric transformer element to be improved in quietness and vibration-proofness when it is kept in operation by a method wherein one of support members is bonded to the inner wall of a case when a piezoelectric transformer element where support members are fixed is fixed in a case. SOLUTION: A case 11 where support members 5a and 5b are fixed and a piezoelectric transformer element 1 is housed is formed of material such as synthetic resin or plastic resin or the like and provided with terminals 12 and 13 which are formed on its primary edge face and connected to input electrodes 2 and 3 through the intermediary of lead wires 15 and a terminal 14 which is formed on its secondary edge face and connected to an output electrode 4 via a lead wire 15. The inner wall of the case 11 has a large area enough to enable the outer edges of the support members 5a and 5b fixed to the piezoelectric transformer element 1 to come into close contact with it. When the piezoelectric transformer element 1 is housed in the case 11, only the support member 5b out of the support members fixed to the secondary side is fixed to the inner wall of the case 11 and/or a lid 16 with adhesive agent.
