PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent press-connected electric wires from being separated from press-fitting terminals, and to securely insert the press-fitting terminals inserted into a connector housing at a regular position even it an external tensile force is exerted on the electric wire pulled from the connector housing. SOLUTION: This press-fitting connector comprises a rear holder 14 inserted into and locked to a connector housing 11 through the guide of an insertion guide groove 15 from the side of one opening end 11A of the connector housing 11. The rear holder 14 includes a press-fitting terminal pressing surface 14E for pressing and fitting press-fitting terminals 19 already inserted into the connector housing into a regular position inside the connector housing 11 and an electric wire holding surface 14D for holding electric wires 24 in cooperation with the inner wall surface of the connector housing 11 in the process of inserting the rear holder 14 into the connector housing 11 from the side of one opening end 11A of the connector housing 11.
