PURPOSE: A safety lock structure of a sliding door type vehicle is provided to prevent a breakage of a striker as well as to transmit a displacement force by using a link. CONSTITUTION: A safety lock structure of a sliding door type vehicle consists of a striker(10), a pillar lead(11), a rod(13), a first link(14), a second link(15), a locker(17), and a spring(18). The striker of a triangle profile fixedly attached to a sliding door to reciprocate with the door. The pillar lead has a protrusion at one end thereof, and is rotated about a rotation shaft to open and close a fuel injection opening. The rod converts a rotation displacement movement of the protrusion into a straight movement using an inclined surface. The first link and the second link convert the straight movement the rod into the rotation displacement movement about a fixed shaft. The locker is fixedly coupled to the fixed shaft, and is formed with a groove for locking and releasing the striker. The spring provides a restoration force of the locker. Since the striker and the locker is stably locked while having a wide contacting areas, it is possible to prevent a breakage of the striker, and to transmit a displacement force by using the links. |
