A spring operated guillotine mechanism (13) is fitted to allow the frame (14) to be displaced into the path between the front opening and the bait (40). The trigger mechanism consists of a plate (32), mounted between the frame and the bait, and linked to a trigger arm (34), to retain the link (27) in position. The trap consists of box, with bottom (3), two side walls (4, 5), front wall (6) fitted with opening (12), rear wall (7) and top (8) fitted with opening (9), between front upper surface (10) and rear upper surface (11).
