PURPOSE: A method is provided to prevent refrigerant gas leakage caused by a damage to the weld zone while eliminating welding work. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of coupling an end of an air conditioner pipe(10) to a passage hole(24) of a union(20); a second step of continuously forming a plurality of first stepped portions(12) having expanded diameter from an interior of the air conditioner pipe, and fixing the outer surface of the first stepped portion to a second stepped portion(22) of the union; and a third step of forming a caulking portion along the vertical surface of the first stepped portion of the air conditioner pipe, and fixing the caulking portion to the union, thus preventing the caulking portion from being rotated with respect to the air conditioner pipe and the union, respectively. With one end of the air conditioner pipe being inserted into the union, the diameter of the air conditioner pipe is expanded and fixed to the second stepped portion of the union.
